Meet Adam
I was born in Lakefield, MN and raised near Windom. I attended Alexandria Technical College and graduated from the law enforcement program in 2004. I live in Jackson County with my wife of 20 years and our two kids. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, attending kids’ events, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am proud of the Jackson County community and would be honored to serve as Sheriff. I believe I can build on the great leadership we’ve had in this county and serve our residents well.
During my 20 years in law enforcement, I've served the communities of:
Cottonwood County, MN
Mountain Lake, MN
Lakefield, MN
Rapid City, SD
Jackson County, MN
Also supervised numerous drug investigations and countless search warrants for narcotics in Jackson County
Served as Defensive Tactics Instructor and ALICE Instructor
Completed FBI LEDA Leadership Program
Currently serving as Investigator and Firearms Instructor
My goals as Sheriff would be:

Provide education and awareness about topics that impact our community

Keep our citizens safe through proactive, community-focused policing

Ensure deputies are visible, engaged, and actively present in the communities we serve

Build upon the strong foundation that has already been established within the department

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity

Above all, I'm dedicated to delivering exceptional service to the public and maintaining an open-door policy that is approachable, transparent, and compassionate.
